Education is the Answer
Homer Animal Friends works with the local schools to teach pet ownership responsibility, purchase Kind Kids magazine for kindergarten through 3rd grade classrooms, instruct children and parents on safety around animals and promote pet/owner bonding. HAF has donated a number of books and DVDs to the Homer Library on pet care and training.
